Having enjoyed excellent training, Mr De Zoysa is passionate about the development of upcoming surgeons and plays a crucial role in the career development of future surgical consultants. His skills as a trainer are well recognised and he is regularly invited to train other surgeons in operative technique at several international courses.
Mr De Zoysa has also written numerous academic papers on nasal surgery, voice, cancer and paediatric sleep apnoea. He is now a reviewer for new research papers submitted to academic journals. Mr De Zoysa has also been a volunteer in surgical outreach programs, both for rural Aboriginal communities in remote parts of Australia as well as in Sri Lanka following the Tsunami.
