Nose
Nasal complaints can be both debilitating and annoying. An endoscopic examination of your nose can be performed in clinic under local anaesthetic to help understand where your problem may lie. During his time in Australia Mr De Zoysa performed a great deal of joint surgery with Neurosurgeons (Skull base surgery). Mr De Zoysa deals with throat problems daily from acute infections to occupational problems and cancers of the throat. Fortunately, most throat related complaints come from benign causes. Snoring & Sleep Apnoea
Mr De Zoysa has experience in both Paediatric and Adult sleep disorders which range from simple snoring to obstructive sleep apnoea. He trained at the Evelina Hospital for children in London which has pioneered coblation intracapsular tonsillectomy which is a less painful way of removing tonsil and adenoid tissue to treat with sleep apnoea. He has also been invited as faculty to train surgeons in sleep apnoea surgery in Australia to teach advanced techniques for nasal, palatal and tongue related causes of snoring.

Terri has a wealth of experience in running private medical services and has worked with the most accomplished names in the field for over 30 years. She is highly approachable and gifted both with logistics and customer service. Terri handles appointments, theatre scheduling, general enquiries and fees. She is based at Mr De Zoysa’s ENT Suite at Nuffield Hospital Bournemouth 0900-1700 Monday to Friday.

Neil works closely with Dr Alistair Thomson within the Dorset Head & Neck cancer multi-disciplinary team in Poole. He has developed specialist skills in MRI, CT and Ultrasound scanning techniques. He is also an expert in image guided biopsy and functional fluoroscopic tests. A close working relationship allows Neil and Alistair to be thorough in diagnosis and get an extra edge in planning your treatment.

Henrik has been a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine since 2010. Neil and Henrik work together regularly doing anything from complex head & neck cancer surgery to delicate childrens ENT procedures. Their excellent teamwork and mutual understanding helps provide exceptional care to their patients. Henrik has completed postgraduate training in London, the Oxford School of Anaesthesia, and Australia.
Katherine De Zoysa BA(Hons) PGCE QTS
Practice Manager
Katherine was raised in Poole and has adapted her skills to help co-ordinate and run the practice. Katherine has formerly worked in the Criminal Justice System and then went on to become a Teacher which she has great passion for and has enjoyed over the last twelve years. She still finds the time to teach locally in Dorset from Reception all the way through to year six.
