COVID 19 image
We are pleased to announce that we open and running a normal service!

Please be advise that healthcare services are overwhelmed across the UK. We have opened up additional capacity but availability is still limited due to demand.

Private hospital resources have been procured by the NHS temporarily and this is limiting the availability of private theatre space.
Unfortunately the issue is UK wide.

We thank you for your patience.

Thanks

Children

Children

As a parent himself Mr De Zoysa understands the anxiety of having concerns with your child's wellbeing. It’s important that both child and parent have a relaxing visit to the doctor and Mr De Zoysa works to build a rapport with your child and involve them as much as possible - and help them to feel relaxed and at ease. During his training at several children’s hospitals Mr De Zoysa learned many new techniques and up to date way of thinking about children's ENT problems.

Nose

Nose

Nasal complaints can be both debilitating and annoying. An endoscopic examination of your nose can be performed in clinic under local anaesthetic to help understand where your problem may lie. During his time in Australia Mr De Zoysa performed a great deal of joint surgery with Neurosurgeons (Skull base surgery). As a result, he gained a particular appreciation and respect for nasal and sinus anatomy. Please click for more info to see a sample of surgeries available.

Throat

Throat

Mr De Zoysa deals with throat problems daily from acute infections to occupational problems and cancers of the throat. Fortunately, most throat related complaints come from benign causes. Assessing your throat with an endoscopy procedure is a very useful first step into identifying the case of your symptoms. Surgery is only required in certain circumstances but if required can often be performed via minimal access techniques using endoscopes and microscopes.

Cancer

Cancer

Assessing patients with suspected cancer is a regular part of Mr De Zoysa’s practice. Fortunately, most patients he sees end up being free from cancer. If, however, this is not the case then you will not be alone. Cancer care is multi-faceted, and treatment often requires many different professionals. As a core member of the Head & Neck Dorset cancer team, Mr De Zoysa has access to leading local experts to help expedite and organise the best care when they are not surgical. He will also be your direct advocate in the meetings where care is centrally discussed and planned.
